Elona was born and raised in Vlora, Albania. In her teens, Elona moved to the capital city of Tirana, Albania where she studied and graduated with a degree in Pharmacy. Like all other immigrants, Elona migrated to the United States in search of a better future for her family.
Although her love for pharmacy was always there, finding the way back to her career when in a new country and language barriers proved to be challenging. When moving to the United States, Elona’s passion for beauty and unwavering determination led her to establish her renowned studio in Worcester, MA in 2020. Upon relocating to the United States, she continued her medical journey by earning a degree as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from Northeastern University. In 2022, Shadie made the pivotal decision to delve into the dynamic world of medical spas, founding Silky Skin LLC with Elona Ajazi and assuming the role of Medical Director.
